This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer and browser information (server log files) in order to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel; data transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
This website does not set any cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. Technically necessary cookies are set for logging in to the customer area (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), see section 6.
To count page views, we use our own visitor counter PAN21counter (pan21counter.de). It does not set cookies and does not create user profiles. When a page is called up, a shortened hash value that changes daily is generated from the IP address in order to avoid counting the same visitor several times on the same day; the IP address itself is not stored. Individual page views are deleted after three days; after that, only aggregated daily figures remain. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in simple reach measurement).
The Impressum generator runs locally in your browser (client-side). The information you enter into the form (e.g. name, address, email address) is not transmitted to our servers. Data is only transmitted and stored if you are logged in and explicitly save your Impressum in your account (see section 6).
For a free account, we need your email address. You log in without a password via a login link that we send you by email. Emails are sent via Resend (Resend Inc., USA) on the basis of a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. After you log in, we set a technically necessary session cookie (imp_session, valid for 90 days). We store your email address, your sessions and the Impressum and privacy policy profiles you create yourself. The data is stored in a database at our service provider Supabase.
If you embed the Impressum widget on your website, the Impressum (and, if applicable, the privacy policy) saved for your domain is intentionally publicly accessible — that is the purpose of the widget.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the service you requested). You can request the deletion of your account at any time by email to support@pan21.com.
If you book Impressum-Free Plus, we process your domain and email address in order to send you the annual reminder. Payments are processed via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland). The data required for the payment is transmitted to Stripe; Stripe does not pass your card details on to us. If you pay with EUROPAN credit, your email address, the amount and your PIN are transmitted to the EUROPAN payment service (noble-limited.com) to process the payment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We use beehiiv (Beehiiv Inc., USA) for our newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address and subscription data are stored with beehiiv. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other font providers.
At the bottom of the page, we embed banners and status badges from other websites (including site-ok.de, pagespeed-plus.de, kaputte-links.de, ffa-links.de, swiss-quality.de and german-quality.net). When these images are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the respective server for technical reasons.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
